fast tune

The fast tune has a main tune, and a contrasting tune every third verse.

Each tune has three parts, high, medium and low.

To learn the harmonies:

  • Listen to the separate recordings of the parts and follow the pattern of pitches in the pictures.

  • Listen to the full recording - see if you can hear the different parts.

  • Try singing to the recording, following whichever part is most comfortable for your voice.

A few things to look out for:

  • Watch for the step down from blue to yellow in the top line where it looks like there is a note missing!.

  • There's a matching step down from yellow to red in the middle line (which looks like it continues on yellow).

  • And watch out for the step down to pink and purple in the low part - it comes sooner than you expect!
